What does this mean, "one dimm per channel only?"
Do I lose dual-channel support?

Some MBs only have one DIMM slot per channel, while others have two slots per channel.
Sounds like you lose support for the memory speed of 1066, if you use two DIMMs per channel.

Another example where it's better to use two larger capacity DIMMs vs 4 smaller sizes.
