AMD DDR mobo owners.....( NOT, asking which one to get)

If you have a VIA southbridge, install the 4in1 drivers, but deselect the option to install AGP drivers. Install everything else.
 
Yup, what Mr Helpful said. Also note: you still install the VIA drivers first, then the AMD Inf, then the AMD AGP, then everything else.
 
u don't install an AMD inf...

u just install the AMD AGP gart and Via bus master drivers (assuming u have a via southbridge)...

nothing else.

also, it doesn't have to be in any paticular order at all...

Every body forgot to answer your Question, No you dont have to install it.

Problems without it, Very low AGP performance, benchmarks will be 1/3 of what they should be.
Problems with it, none that I have found.

So install the AMD AGP miniport drivers.
