Very nice! :)

It's very tempting to pick up one of these and hope for the best (as far as overclocking goes), but I still can't decide if I want to do that or wait for the Revision E A64's in a month or two. :p

This is the new price. :)

I'm pretty sure the 3200+ was at least $200 or near it before now.

It has been $185-ish OEM, $200-ish retail.

Noooooooo!

Not again. The first time I went Athlon 64 they did a price drop about a week later. Guess what, I upgrade to socket 939 and they do it again. Oh well thems the breaks and this CPU is worth the money anyways, so no biggie.

AMD price drop will save me some money on the 3000+, I'll use it towards my x800 xl (maybe I'll overpay, not more then $350 though) or if the 3200+ drops enough, Maybe ill get that, $180 if???

monarch has the retail 3000 for $148 also. strangely the oem is $170 . retail 3200 is still $199 which sucks.

if monarch just had that msi rs480 igp board for sale for $109 or so like some other stores, i'd orderalready.

I paid $216 for a retail 3200 at the end of Dec., but I also got HL2 and Far Cry for free with the chip & mobo package. The retail box includes the fan, which is pretty quiet. But if you are gonna overclock, you will want a better fan anyway. Good price for an OEM.

Son of a (*^*^$. I JUST bought a 3200 on FRIDAY. Why couldn't someone have posted this earlier??? (Sorry, I'm just kicking myself) And with NewEgg's restocking fee, it pretty much negates any savings I would have made. :::bangs head against wall:::

That sounds about right since my 3500+ has 2.64Ghz which is 4100+ speed.
