Will the AMD Venice cores and FX cores work on existing micro atx boards?

I just put together a Venice core, socket 939 on a Foxconn NF4k8MC micro-ATX board. The board has a 24 pin power header, but my lowly 20pin 300W Antec PSU is running it fine.
