amd cooln quiet?

I just discovered that cool n quiet is called "cpu driver" and I downloaded it and installed. For you overclockers do u have any amd "drivers" installed? or the driver is for cool n quiet only and not really necessary?(I want to o/c)

For single cores, the amd drivers are only for cool n quiet
For dual cores, the amd drivers fix some affinity issues and also allow cool n quiet.
