What is the best AMD cooler out there, that isn't really loud? I need one that doesn't mount with 4 screws through the motherboard.

SLK900-A and the quiet 92mm fan of your choice. Panaflo's do very well.

I have had good results with a couple of copper coolers. One is made by Galaxy, the gnx80 I think. Also the Thermaltake volcano 10+ did really well. I haven't been pleased at all with stock coolers, orbs or coolermaster. My next AMD cooler for my 2500 barton will be the SLK 900a with a Panaflo 92 mm fan and an adjustable fan speed controller. LIke you, I'm looking for quiet. My volcano 9 ain't it!!

Don't forget to post your results here so we can learn from your investment.

slk-800. its low air resistence design has a big advantage when using low rpm fans.

Another vote for the SLK800. ( cuz that's what I've got. Guess that makes me biased)

Loud is really gonna be determined by the fan you use. Bigger fan + lower RPM = less noise.

HEY!! Anyone wanna buy a 7000 RPM Delta? Only slightly used. Ear plugs sold separetly.
