I'm using this driver, and have no issues with it other than having to do a workaround and replace two files to re-enable proper overclocking.

So far has worked great on my tri-fire setup. Have yet to test eyefinity.

It was a clean install. I followed some instructions on Guru3D to fix overclocking.

The first set of instructions were to do an install of these new drivers on top of older drivers. That was a definite no go.

The other set of instructions just showed which files from RC11 needed to go into this new driver package. 2 copy and pastes and an edit of an .ini file and everything was good to go on a clean install. I used CCleaner, Driver Sweeper, and ATIman Uninstaller in between, along with deleting the few leftover registry entries for Afterburner.

Also, Afterburner Beta 15 is out, for those interested. I'm using it and it's fine.

Edit: Here are those instructions, in case anyone else is interested in trying these and have issues.

Don't do it.

Don't listen to him. He hasn't even tested them.

I posted these drivers yesterday. They work better than the 12.2 WHQLs on my machine. They fix a lot of the issues people had reported with other drivers. Namely with BF3 and Skyrim.

I realized I've yet to try out the new MLAA 2.0 feature, and this is enough of a reason to give it a whirl.

I wonder if this perfromance boost is a response to - TXAA or whatever new AA is in the GTX 6-series.

Eitherway, if I'm going to use vasoline-AA, I want it to be FREE!

Maybe these are the drivers that will give a free "magical" 20% boost to 7 series cards, putting 7970 safely above the leaked 680 scores :)

Im sure there is power that is still untapped in these cards. Specs on paper are above and beyond the GTX 680 ;)
