I'm getting occasional but reasonably consistent graphics corruptions.
Platform:
Gigabyte ATI HD 5770 1GB
ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 (890GX chipset)
Win7 HP 64 SP1
With the Catalyst 10.10 drivers:
Consistent minor graphics corruption in StarCraft 2 when an achievement is earned, the shimmer effect was screwed up.
Inconsistent and occasional graphics corruption playing WMV files in WMP.
I decided to upgrade the driver after experiencing a "the driver has suffered a problem and restarted itself successfully" message, and looking through the logs noticed three other occurrences all (and only) recently.
I upgraded to the 11.11 driver, and while the WMP issue has been fixed (and I haven't earned an achievement in SC2 since upgrading), I have a far more annoying issue in LibreOffice where table borders from files saved before updating the driver aren't showing. If I recreate the tables, the borders show fine. I upgraded LibreOffice some time before the driver, so I know it isn't that. If I open files that I've saved after recreating the tables, the borders show fine. Weird.
I'm tempted to revert to the 10.10 driver to see what happens with the LibreOffice issue, but removing/upgrading drivers possibly several times can be a bit tedious, so I thought I would ask here first. Has anyone had any similar issues with recent-ish Catalyst drivers?
Otherwise, games work without problems on my machine.
