More Opencl compliance is my geuss but I didn't read up on it. I'd think it may offer a kernel level output for complex CPU intensives tasks like video encoding. I expect Microsoft and intel will embrace opencl much more and that cuda will get pushed out into the professional space.
AMD siad that 2011 was the year they fight back and embracing opencl is a big part of that plan with the fusion products comming etc etc etc adnuaseum..
We'd need drastically more powerful hardware before open CL truly realizes its benefits. the next gen stuff late next year should be the swing point for that to happen.
To answer the question they're just AMD's regular graphics drivers packed with their OpenCL drivers. Previously the only way to get AMD's OpenCL drivers was to install the Stream SDK.
