Credit goes to Asder00 over at Guru3d :)

Make sure you download the 3rd version to avoid CCC issues. Some kind of MS .Net Framework issue with the others.

Seems like they managed to squeeze more performance out with these drivers according to some of the comments. AMD is hauling a** it seems in the driver dept lately.

I don't have AMD gpu's anymore...

....but when I did I learned REAL QUICK to NEVER USE guru3d beta drivers that aren't available on the AMD webpage

Maybe things have changed but every mysterious guru3d driver i've ever tried in the past was problematic.

Just reading the thread on Guru3d lets me know to not install these. CCC won't open for the majority of users who are running this unofficial beta.

If you would have read my OP, download the 3rd version in bold in the OP at guru3d.

I can understand people being cautious about using these drivers. I would say check user reviews and see if there's some real benefit to you personally before using them. Of course, that's my recommendation for any video driver. The, if it ain't broke don't fix it, mentality. Also, on the same line, if you install new drivers and they break something, roll back to the ones that worked. :)

So... is there a changelist?

Really tempted to try these and see if the intermittent corruption I've had on my 7870 since 12.6 is finally fixed.

These are the best drivers for someone running multi-GPU 6-series and playing newer games. I have 3x 6970 and play at 2560x1600.

Sleeping Dogs - some of the older driver sets ran fast although the low/med AA didn't have great IQ. 12.8 seemed to have high IQ but with TERRIBLE multigpu performance. 12.9 seems to run the fastest of all, although the low/med AA still don't have great IQ.

Guild Wars 2 - older sets ran terrible, 12.8 improved some, 12.9 by far the fastest.

Max Payne - older sets either had bad performance or flickering lighting. Didn't try it on 12.8 but 12.9 has the best performance and no glitches.
