AMD bumps up AM2 launch date

I think that it's a good thing. I think that AMD has a very conservative and sound marketing strategy. If they are pushing the release date up it must be because THEY CAN. I can only assume, and having good experience with AMD in the past that the final revision have been made and that they are simply crossing the Ts. No product is perfect, but they must be pretty confident that this will go off without a hitch since with the close release of Conroe any trip ups could be disastrous. It's not secret that Conroe boast significant gains. Also I'm pretty sure that in this race AMD doesn't want Intel beating them to the finish line, I mean a new socket release is an improvement but consumers will always favour the release of a new core.
