AMD build -- will Kingston HyperX RAM really increase performance?

I'm building a AMD PC with a 1700+ DUTC3 T'bred "B" processor and a Soltek mobo. To cool the PC I'll be using a Thermalright SK-7 with a Thermaltake Smart Fan II.

This week BB has the Kingston HyperX PC3500 RAM on sale for $49 after MIR and I'm wondering is it worth the cost in order to get two sticks for my PC? Will I really be able to tell the difference between Hyper X and the PC2700 I plan on putting in it?

Well HyperX PC3500 may be a little overkill, but you certainly don't want to use PC2700 either as it will limit your overclocking. Getting some good solid PC3200 is good enough... BUT I doubt you'll be able to find any for less than $50 per 256MB stick, so just pick up the HyperX and be glad you are guaranteed the headroom to raise your FSB all the way up to 217MHz if your chip can take it.
