interesting. I just ordered one of those off of newegg (39$ and free shipping).
Although I am doing it to save money on electricity so OCing it is counter productive for me.

(BE is not Black Edition... it's Best Efficiency... aka, you are paying extra for lower power consumption, not for unlocked multipliers)

although, with the lower power consumption they should run cooler, so I guess they will OC well...

I've got one, and they overclock quite nicely. Right now I've got it running a 3.105ghz 1.504vcore so far Orthos stable for 7 hours straight. Temps reading from the motherboard diode never peak higher than 46c (brisbanes have a glitch in the on die temp sensors, so I don't trust them, but I would assume them to be about 4-5c higher than the motherboard cpu diode)
considering how cheap this was, and that it clocks so well I'd say it's a good buy. I've got a Xigmatek HDT-s1283 keeping it cool though, a good pairing with this chip since it's cheap, yet very great cooler.

I built a cheap system for my brother with a BE-2350. Ended up with 2.9GHz @ 1.36v.

I'm sure it would've gone faster with more volts, but wanted this to run very cool.

I'm running at 3.05ghz with mine @ 1.4, my brother got 3.1 out of his at the same voltage.

I'm running my BE-2400 at 2.6GHz, at stock voltage and multiplier. I know, that's hopeless, but my motherboard is to blame. Silly Gigabyte didn't think to include options to turn down memory speed or HTT multiplier in the bios.

BE-2400#1 2.78ghz at stock volts and BE-2400#2 at 2.76ghz stock volts. Running stock voltage for efficiency purposes with Cool'N'Quiet enabled. Think I hit 3.0ghz with one and a little extra juice.

When I get a different job and no longer can use my own PC, I'll bring home my 4850e from the office and OC it to see how high I can go. 2.5ghz 45w TDP at stock with volts of 1.0 under load and .9 idle is too tempting to not OC for fun someday. :)
