AMD "Barton" 2600+ mobile oc'd VS AMD 64 2800+

I'm considering a new chip and was wondering if upgrading to a 64 chip ($50 extra for 2800+ or $75 extra for a 3000+) was worth it from an oc'd 2600+ mobile clocked anywhere from 2.2-2.4 GHz.

How much of a speed difference? In everyday applications to gaming? How easy is it to oc a 64 chip? Any thoughts?

If your mobile can only do 2.2-2.4ghz, it's no question. Get an A64. My mobile did 2.8ghz and I moved to A64 (got 2.6ghz out of a Newcastle).

Most 2600+ xp-m's can do ~2600mhz these days.

Whoa, no kidding. Just roaming various boards, I found they usually top 2.4-2.5... What kind of board and cooling are they using?
