AMD Axia...

You know, with all this AXIA hype going around, AMD should name their next processor the AMD Axia...

Sounds catchy, plus we are all familiar with the name!

Too bad the new cores are called AYHJA...now how are you supposed to say that? =)

Dang that does have a nice ring to it. IMHO the name Athlon always sucked. I thought it sounded too much like Celeron at first. Now it's just stupid (though Pentium has been run in the dirt). Axia would be nice . . .

Actually, I don't mind the AMD Athlon name. I don't know why AMD named their low end processor the Duron though...

who knows..they all sound the same to me after u hear them everyday for eons...

they should name their next gen. procs. 'planet-XR4.3'
