AMD Atholon 64 3700+ and the Asus A8N SLI Premium

Ok,

So I may of screwed up, but I need some help.... I just ordered an AMD Atholon 64 3700+ San Diego and have found out according to Asus's website, the 3700 is not supported on the Premium edition of the board. So I do some research online to find out why or if Asus's website is wrong. But then I see that many of you out there have both this chipset and this motherboard.

So my question to you guys is, whats the story is it supported or not?

it is supported
right now im using the Asus A8N-SLI PREMIUM with the SAN DIEGO 3700+ with no problem at all

Yep, this works just fine.

There are quite a few others on this board that are running this combination also.

Hi guys
are your San Diegos e4 or e6 stepping? Asus list says they only support e6 stepping. I just got one with e4 and everything is not right..
