AMD Athlon 900

Just got a Athlon 900 Socket A chip cheap second hand. Can you recommend a motherboard and what do you lot reckon paire this thing with a Geforce 3 or even 4?


I am looking at the Abith KT7a board and giving it 512MB RAM

The Abit KT7a is a decent enough board - just make sure you have the latest drivers and BIOS and it'll be fine.

I personaly wouldn't pair an Athlon 900 with an GeForce3 or 4. Anything higher than a GeForce2 and the graphics card will be throttled by the CPU.

I'll look into a Geforce 2 Ti and keep an eye on the prices of GF3s.
