I was having trouble with my computer...after lots of suffering I determined it was because there was a pin broken off the CPU (no laughing).
I need to buy a new CPU. The one I had before was:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 2.2GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Dual Core Processor - Retail
I can buy this again on newegg for about $235. Do you think this is a good CPU to buy again? Is it worth spending more money to get an even better one? Any recommendations? I run many applications on this computer simulateously and do some light gaming.
