AMD Athlon 64 Processor Driver causes stuttering frames

One of my games was having trouble running so I installed the processor driver in attempts to alleviate the stuttering, but that just caused it to stutter even more. Now in other games, the video stutters as the frames are showing as repeating spikes. I tried uninstalling the driver, it completely successfully, but the problem is still there. Anyone know how to fix?

I was thinking that I could uninstall the processors in the Device Manager, but I'm not sure what happens if Windows boots up with no processors installed.

Quinton - I already uninstalled it, the problem is still here.

Stevty - I installed the Athlon 64 driver that says "Allows the system to automatically adjust the CPU speed, voltage and power combination that match the instantaneous user performance need."

The X2 uses a differant driver than the A64. This is the correct driver.
