Hello everyone,

This is my first post however I have learned quite a bit from reading forums.anandtech.com. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the new AMD Athlon 64 Mobile XP-M processor and provide the core or kernal for me.

Some information I have been able to uncover includes:

AHN2800BIX2AY AMD ATHLON64 2800+ MOBILE 62W
AHN3000BIX3AY AMD ATHLON64 3000+ MOBILE 62W

--Mobile Athlon XP-M 64bit--
Mobile 2800+ 1.6GHz 128KB L2 Cache
Mobile 3000+ 1.6GHz 256KB L2 Cache

Mobile Athlon XP-M 64bit Example:
AH N 3000 B I X 3 AY
AH = Brand: AMD Athlon? XP-M Processor Family 15
N = Power Limit: 62W
3000 = Model Number: 1.6GHz
B = Package: 754 Pin Lidless OµPGA(Organic Micro Pin Grid Array)
I = Operating Voltage: 1.4V
X = Maximum Die Temperature: 95° Celsius
3 = L2 Cache Size: 256KByte
AY = Standard VID Voltage Core Revision CG

I have read from other forums it has 1M L2 cache with all but 128K(2800+) or 256k(3000+) disabled. This leads me to beleive its a stripped Clawhammer as this is the only AMD Athlon 64 with 754pins and 1024k L2 Cache.

However another site indicates its some form of the Dublin core but was not very clear.

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for your time and attention.
