4000+ for that price sure as heck seems like a good deal to me! Cheers man! I wonder if it overclocks.

I think it's a good deal if it's a retail version with warranty. You'll probably get pummeled with claims that the 3700+ overclocks just as well, but my 4000+ runs at 2.8 GHz with 1.40v, 2.86 HGz with 1.425v, and 2.90 GHz with 1.45v. I haven't tried any higher.

An opteron 146 is also a possibility from tankguys they go for about 170 i think and mine overclocks well.

It comes with the cpu, retail box, and the original heatsink... Also it is only 3 months old so it does come with the 3 year warranty and he bought it from newegg the best computer store on the planet. If i overclocked it to a 2.8ghz like loafbred would it be as equal to the FX57? I would probably need a better heatsink wouldnt i?

How do you paste pictures on here?

lmao sparky!

yeah it has the warranty, but if you OC forget about warranty. If you OC to 2.8GHz it will be equal to the FX57 since they are both basically the same core. Mine is at 2.86GHz right now. I'd recommend a better heatsink, the stock may be able to handle it but aftermarket is better. Thermaltake big typhoon is a good one I've heard, I'm using the zalman CNPS9500.

You can't paste pics here, but you can put the link to them.

BTW go ahead and laugh :frown:

my cpu is running at 25 degrees C without overclocking it so i am going to bump it up to 2.8ghz or 3ghz, i am using not the standard 4000+ fan i am using a opteron 170 fan
