Is it worth an extra £76.99 for a:

AMD Athlon 64 4000 32/ 64Bit CPU S939 "San Diego"

Rather than a:

AMD Athlon 64 3700 32/ 64Bit CPU S939 "San Diego"???

just overclock the 3700 to 4000 speeds (it will probably do it on stock voltage)

they both have the same oc potential

Not in my opinion. You can easily OC a 3700 to 4000 speeds.

But the 4000 has more headroom for overclocking, since it starts 200Mhz higher and has a higher multiplier.
