AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice cooling

I have a simple question.

Does the CPU box from the link features some kind of a cooling device, or do I need to buy one?
I know it says "Heatsink and Fan" next to Cooling Device, but I don't know what a "Heatsink" is.

The haetsink and fan is included. A heatsink and fan (hsf) is what is used to cool the proccessor. Basically, it's a block of metal with a fan mounted on top of it.

Yup, the stock heatsink and fan are very good too (a little loud though).

Yeah Im overclocking to 2.6+ with the stock HSF and only goin to 45c under load.

if you want uber cooling get an XP-90 (i've still got my stock hsf as a back up i might use it on another system)
