This is a wonderful processor. I have the MSI K8MM-V motherboard, and CS:S runs amazing 😀 A++

Great for the money.

Originally, if I understand the history, you could get A64/3000's in both s754 and s939 versions. But the A64 3000 and 3200 have been dropped, at least for s939. Which means you should edit your message into gloating because you got one before they were all gone, or because you went ahead and got the s754 version, and it turned out that it wasn't so badly crippled after all . .

What kind of memory are you using? I just got the same board and I can't get my Corsair to run above 163Mhz. BIOS is set to Auto (200) for the memory but any changes I make will cause it to fail on the reboot.

I'm using 2x512's of PC3200. The memory ran fine in a Gigabyte board but not in this one.

So I guess you are essentially saying MSI is FUBAR? I've had one Chinatech.... RMA'd it after a week.
