I am looking at getting an AMD athalon 64 (socket AM2) processor.
I don't know if I should save my money and get a 3500+ ($89) or the 3800+ ($109).
I am looking between the two because the 3800+ is sold out, and I am newegg loyal.
I am looking to have a mid ranged gaming system.
In you opinion which one is better, and is their a huge difference between the two?

If you are looking to overclock your cpu, the 3500+ would be better. If not, you should go with the 3800+, but don't limit your options to newegg. For instance: clubit, has it for $107.71 and zzf has it for $109 as well. Welcome to the forums!:D
