amd approved power supply

is future power an amd approved power supply? i looked on their site, and its not listed. but on my power supply, there's an amd approved power supply sticker on it. can anyone clear this up? thanks.

It's possible that amd has not updated their listings lately, and your ps is amd approved.

ok thanks...just wondering. because i heard some bad stuff about future power power supplies. when the guy offered it to me, i was like...do you have anything else?

It's possible that AMD hasn't updated their list, but it may also be that Future Power is putting those stickers on even though it's not true, it's unlikely though, but if you're really concerned, you could always e-mail AMD and ask.

So, is ur PSU giving u probs? If not, whether its AMD approved or not is irrelevant coz many oppl here run their system in an non-approved PSU. The important word here is stability. If u have tht, no worry.

so far, so good. one minor problem though. when i turned on my computer, i had one loud screeching sound. i have no idea what it was, but the computer worked fine. i'm worried about where it came from.
