AMD approved case

Hi all,
Could anybody tell me where I could find a list of AMD approved cases. I called my local pc store and they said that not just my powersupply was AMD approved, but that my whole case was approved. So it wouldn't appear in the AMD approved power supply list. I have an Enlight case with a 250 watt power supply. I believe the power supply is also Enlight and comes with the case.
Thanks,
fizban

Waay back when the Athlon first came out AMD had approved cases (mostly the looked for cases with both front and rear fan mounts), which was seperate from power supply approvals. To my knowledge that testing was not kept up to date and AMD concentrated on Power supplies as being a more pressing issue. Also just because a case was approved did not mean the power supply was approved. Our KS282 was approved, but we initially only shipped it with a 230 watt power supply which was not approved in their power supply testing. Thus why we came out with the KS282+PP303X to have a case and power supply combination that was approved by AMD.

I would stick with the Enlight and upgrade your power supply to an Ennermax 350 watt or greater. Ensure you have good airflow in your case and you should be fine.😎

I've never heard of an AMD approved case. I suppose when the Athlon frist came out the might have had them but I don't think they updated the list to often as AntecCSR said. Just make sure that the PSU is AMD approved and that the case has at least one intake and one exhaust port. The Enlight will be fine.
