AMD has announced a host of new additions to its Gaming Evolved program. AMD formally announced the new titles at an event in San Diego today, and has the games on showcase there. The list of new games added to the program is as follows:
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow; published by Konami, developed by MercurySteam
  • Final Fantasy XIV; published by Square Enix, developed by Square Enix
  • Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded; published by Replay Games, developed by N-Fusion Interactive
  • Murdered: Soul Suspect; published by Square Enix, developed by Airtight Games
  • Pirate 101; published and developed by KingsIsle Entertainment
  • Shadow of the Eternals; published and developed by Precursor Games
  • Thief; published by Square Enix, developed by Eidos Montreal
AMD's Gaming Evolved program aims to boost PC gaming by partnering with game developers. Titles listed as part of the Gaming Evolved Program are akin to those that launch with Nvidia's The Way It's Meant To Be Played logo. The Gaming Evolved stamp represents AMD's collaboration with game developers to help deliver the best possible experience for gamers and ensure the newest titles run smoothly on AMD hardware.

I would hope the latest AMD hardware can run Thief: The Dark Project. The game came out in 1997.

Great game for a bundle though.

I don't like this bundle.

Gaming Evolved is not a bundle. You are confusing GE with Never Settle. The titles AMD will bundle are not necessarily the ones in their GE program. The next Never Settle bundle will likely include BF4, Watch Dogs, etc. bundled with their next series.

Is that Lord of Shadows 1 or 2? Or perhaps a combination?

Lord of Shadows on the PS3 had the worst godawful tearing.

Checking the Wiki it states this came out on Windows?

Platform(s) PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows

I NEED IT! I want 1 and 2 for PC. I was so ecstatic when they announced Lord of Shadows 2 for PC. If part 1 is also getting released. oh hell yeah!!!

And odd that FFXIV:ARB is an AMD Evo title, wasn't the first edition a TWITBP game?

This explains why I get great CFX scaling in the beta? Perhaps I'll get better performance when it launches.

Now to see when Lords of Shadow 1 ever got released to PC...

EDIT:

Should have looked down the info column:

Lord of Shadows 1
Microsoft Windows
Steam
WW August 27, 2013
Retail
WW August 30, 2013

Oh hell yeah! I guess this announcement is for part 1, and perhaps part 2 will also be an AMD Evo title later this year.

I played the original ff14 when it was launched, it definitely ran heaps better on AMD GPUs at the time, lots of complaints from gtx480/580 owners about poor performance.

The current beta for the relaunch also runs extremely well on AMD.. not surprised Square Enix is a GE partner from the looks of these 3 titles of theirs on the list.

Is this a joke post or is this serious?
Edit: Thought this was a new bundle.

I can't remember if the GF and I had our old builds or new when we ran it...I think old. I don't recall her having many issues with her GTX 460 system. Well by which I mean outside of the already horrid overall performance and bugs haha.

I also don't recall terrible performance on my HD 5870, but I can definitely state it wasn't smooth, not like ARB is so far, even on one card it runs freaking smooth.

Actually, I believe Watch Dogs is listed on the AMD Gaming Evolved program too.

The new Thief and Murdered: Soul Suspect not surprising. Square Enix must have close ties with AMD considering all their previous games like Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex, Sleeping Dogs are all AMD titles.

Not all games are AAA. AMD is in trouble. :hmm:

Wrong. AMD put Gaming Evolved games in Never Settle.

How a new Never Settle will be called? Never Settle Skidrow or FLT?
