No, what comes next is where everyone realizes that AMD's made some dumb decisions and simply hasn't been able to keep their corner of the market like Intel has.

Intel or AMD... who cares?

Intel's a superior company if AMD is going out of business and Intel is still going strong.

She's a customer service rep, which at AMD means she handles the big corporate customers, not end users. She's hooked me up with a few free CPU's.

Well, I don't care who gets blamed. I just want to see AMD survive. We all know that the moment AMD (or Intel, for that matter) closes their doors, CPU prices go back up to $1k+ and the development of faster ones comes to a dead halt.
