after reading this story. It seems possible that the two companies might just merge in the future. Other possibilities are also abound, things like the Sledgehammer (maybe 2nd gen?) using transmeta's code morphing to run Itanium code. It would be funny if the sledgehammer is faster at running Itanium's own code. But of course now i'm BSing, but it could happen.
