Hello, I have a an EVGA 68Z motherboard. I also have a xfx 7950 vid card. If I were to get an EVGA 650ti , would it be possible to run both and switch between the cards?

Windows 7 supports multiple drivers yes. I don't know how 3D would work though, like if you are playing games.

May be conflicts but I really don't know.

Yes you can do it. Why do you need to switch? I don't know if it's possible to have the display switch from card to card though...

was just thinking I wanted assasins creed 3 and right now you get it for free with the evga 650ti which is around $129 after rebate. Just thought that was a good deal and would give me the option for physx if I ever had a game that supported that feature...

I'd guess you would have to power down and switch your monitor cable to the card you plan on using. Then windows would start, cycle the driver, causing you to have to re-boot again to use the current card. When switching.

edit: If you wanted to use the gtx as a dedicated physx card with your ATI card, you don't have to do the above. Though you have to configure hybrid physX.
