I can't read ?German? but I'm guessing the numbers mean they're tied at 5 wins, 5 losses and three stalemates.

Yes, it's German. Use BabelFish or the Google toolbar to translate it if you want.

There are far too many variables for it to be a valid benchmark, let alone to base a purchasing choice on. But it's a great idea, and a lot of fun to watch :)

gewonnen = win
verloren = lose
remis = ?? but seems to be tie.

AMD MP 11 wins, 7 loses, 8 ties, to the Xeon CPU

The AMD dualie needs more imagination.

It could have taken game #26, which ended up as a draw.

edit: what the heck... the AMD has evidently not heard of castling its pawn into a queen/knight/bishop/rook either...

Is this speed related? isn't this a turn based game, which means both sides have ample time to make their move. no one gets more "points" or have a better chance of winning by making the moves faster!!!!

Perhaps, the faster CPU of the pair can go through more permutations/predictions of possible combinations of moves in order to make the best move. Just my 0.02. :p

each computer gets a set amount of time before it has to make its move, so the faster one will be able to see further into the future, theoretically alowing it to make better moves.
