Not sure what's up with this, but it made my computer black screen and freeze using it to uninstall.

I do not recommend using this tool for now,

at least for me, with Windows 8,

after using it, during the first reboot my PC got stuck on the loading screen for a while (with no/little HD activity) and when it finally started it had an error message, and whenever I tried to reboot the same happened (apart from the error message), I decided to look on services.msc to see if it was trying to start something, and to my surprise all the description of the services were not being displayed... that was enough for me, fortunately windows 8 created a restore point yesterday and it worked, now I'm back to where I was...

Interesting to see them replace their Catalyst 'driver update' button with this tool.

I've always used Atiman Uninstaller to remove old Catalyst drivers before new versions. Never had any driver problems whatsoever. Is it dumb luck or thanks to the uninstaller? I don't know, but certainly won't stop using the uninstaller while I'm on a roll

2 years with 5970 and always uninstal using control painel. Never use driver cleaners or other programs and never had instalation problem.

I did it this way for years, and just tried this on a whim. Going back to the old method.
