AMD All in one?

Does anyone know of either a KX133 or KT133 chipset board that has built in everything, network, video, possibly sound (but unnecessary). Its going towards a server, and I'd rather not buy all that stuff extra. Does anyone know if these built in devices work in linux? Thanks.

Neither of those chipsets support all the onboard crap... You Can find ones that do however they are normally crap also.... You Might want to check This Out... Its bases on the km133. Its got most all of the advantages as the kt133 accept for the fact that it does support the onboard crap..... This is the only board I have seen anything on with this chipset, but there are probably more out there.........

On another note a quick search for km133 in pricewatch produced boards from microstar, biostar & transcend using the km133 board

The first KM133 board is on the way. Watch for ECS K7VMA aka PC-Chips M809 (same thing). It's the twin brother of K7VZA that's getting great reviews all over, so it should be a fine board too.

The only all-in-one that's available so far uses the SiS 730S chipset - it's another PC-Chips board, M810LMR. Has it all, 3D video, 4.1-channel audio (hardware engine), LAN, 4 USB, AMR modem riser.

I think I'll just stick with a regular kx133 and get cheap vid and network cards seperately

... and then fiddle with that cheap stuff to get it to run in Linux?

The integrated stuff in SiS chipsets has excellent Linux support, most of it written by or assisted by SiS themselves. Besides, the M810LMR is just $5 more than the cheapest KT133 boards (which are microATX as well).

Well someone on the for sale forms is selling an abit ka7 for $40, since the new form km133's are new, I doubt anyone will be selling them at cheap.
