I have an Intel rig with an AMD graphics card, which is connected to the monitor via DVI.
The nearest thing I can find to a definitive explanation of what this service does is here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_Radeon_Software_Crimson#Audio_acceleration
My impression is that I don't need this, though admittedly I don't have a very good reason for getting rid of it (one less process running, and 2 event log error entries per S3 resume).
Does anyone have any experience with this service?
