I found an article that suggests that the A8-7600 has been delayed. http://www.computershopper.com/components/reviews/amd-a8-7600
"Production of the AMD A8-7600 is on track and will be available first to AMD’s OEM customers in Q1 2014, to ensure the introduction of AMD-based systems in Q2 2014. Additional parts...will be available for sale in the component channel in 2H 2014."
Well, AMD say it's not delayed, but it was ment to be in the shops in Q1, wasn't it?

I was wondering the same, as this is the most interesting chip coming out of AMD at the moment, particularly in the 45W config.

The A8-7600 is not delayed. It only has an OEM/tray SKU: AD7600YBI44JA

Do you want to buy one? Get it from SabrePC. Bear in mind it is not going to be a retail part, despite the product description on SabrePC.

It may not be delayed but it's barely available in basically any country.

It's one of AMD's infamous stealth OEM parts. They'll probably show up in all kinds of desktop/AiO machines without many of us even noticing. But yeah, I'm not seeing it in any OEM machines yet, either. Not that I've looked very hard.

This article seems to agree with the idea that the 7600 is more-or-less on track to OEMs only.

Well, the article says it's OEM only now, and set for retail in Q2, when the rest of Kaveri launches (the dual core skus and a 65W A10)

Actually that article says the PIB(Processor In a Box) SKUs will be launched in retail in H2 2014 not Q2.
Q2 is referred to Retail OEM system availability. If that is not a typo then they are late as hell for that SKU for the channel.

Indeed. The 7600 won't go retail for awhile yet. It should have shown up in OEM boxes by now, and maybe it has, but I haven't noticed them (yet). More specifically, I haven't noticed them showing up in the overpriced replacement CPU channels where all the weirdo OEM-only AMD chips have lurked in the past. Maybe May?

oh whoops, you're right. the article's title disagree with its own quote.
