subjective review:
feels very fast around windows, has enough grunt to do video transcoding and light gaming.

Unfortunately I havent got around to battery life yet, that would take some time and I dont have the tools to check power draw at the wall.

all scores were derived from a Lenovo g505 ultra budget notebook [$315]

in low power profile, clocks drop to 800Mhz.

What is the subjective impression for browsing and very light office use? Both for high and low profile setting.

How would you compare it to e350/450?

I only used an e-350 laptop a while back for a month, so I couldn't tell you honestly, however this thing eclipses the c-50 10 fold and is comparable to my dell with sandybridge i3-2310m.

although the apu's gpu is very snappy!

mSATA? I went with a Lenovo i3 laptop purely because of that - 128GB mSATA SSD for 8, 320GB HDD for storage. Can you crack it open and peek inside?

There is absolutely no comparison. An e350 is just barely faster than a last-gen Atom processor, but with much better graphics. This A6-5200 is much closer to an Ivybridge in ipc than to an Atom, performance-wise. It's a few times faster, in both cpu and gpu performance.

I think those results are quite good for the price,

if possible could you test Winrar benchmark, and/or 7zip...
also some 3dmark06...

and you probably don't have it, but I would be curious to see the F1 2012 benchmark...

ST score on CB looks like some Core 2 CPU at 1.6-1.7GHz

I can try, but that'll be a little later. I dont have f1 but a few other steam title are dling batman:ac, borderlands 2, the witcher 2, trine 2, dirt 3 and a few others.

Monstercameron, thanks a lot for that review - it would be great if you could make more tests.

I'm interested in that model and as I see so far there's no reason not buying it.

Btw, where can I buy it for 315 dollars?

bought in bestbuy, but I must warn you, the build quality leaves alot to be desired.

ima try to do more tests, but the owner has taken it back so it'll be a little while before I can do them.

One more question: in which HDD model is equipped that laptop, Samsung or Toshiba (looks like both judging by screenshot form HWiNFO64)?

Thanks Monster, great review and very interesting processor. I really hope that companies like Asus come out with a laptop with that cpu.
