AMD 965 temps

I just installed a Corsair H50 on a Phenom 2 965 with a new mobo and ram. Using a Push/Pull config on the Rad. I have no idea what normal temps are or have a comparison to air cooling. No OC and safe default bios.

My current temps idle in Bios started at 38C/100F and is now resting at 40C/104F
Systems temps is 43C/109F

I have a feeling thats not good, seems so far to be gradually rising, i'm worried about trying to install windows if its too hot. but if someone can adviceboth normal and good temps and what the safe maximum is. thanks

Did you use the stock paste? The h50 will idle a little higher than some high performance coolers but at moderate voltage will load up pretty decently. In my htpc it did take two mounts to get it right. Is pressure even across the screws?

I don't know how valid the complaints are or if water cooler implementers are just anal, but you could always add another radiator to the setup. Most peeps say watercooling w/o two rads is a waste of time. What temps did you have with your previous air cooler. I have a PII 945 but I cant compare to that as its not 140W (wow that is high!!). The H50 is low profile which is one plus.

stock paste, exactly as manual stated. i just wanted to know if the temps are ok. i never had a previous air cooler, my first AMD in a decade, i immediatly used H50, never had air on it.
