I'm trying to decide which chipset to go with (AMD 780g or Nividia Geforce 8200) for a Budget HTPC. Both offer integrated video with audio over HDMI. This particular system will only be used for Netflix-Instant, MKV files and surfing the web and some legacy games (Doom/Quake upto Doom3). I already have a PS3 for Blu-Ray and games.

I'm trying to keep the total cost for Motherboard, CPU, RAM and PSU to about $200.

These are the two MBs I'm trying to decide between (Foxconn A7GM-S AMD 780G or ECS GF8200A V1.0):

If you intend to send uncompressed LPCM audio over HDMI, the 780g restricts this to stereo.

Both chipsets are good, the 780g is highly overclockable, I don't know about the 8200 as I've never used the IGP on mine. AT and other sites have articles with comparos.
