I was wondering if the stock hsf on the 761 northbridge is good enough or is it advisable to stick a better hsf on there for best performance??Mine is stuck on there with some thermal tape,so should i at least clean that off and use some arctic silver on it??thanks for any help on this

Cooling does nothing for performance unless you're going to use the
extra cooling for overclocking the FSB.

I would be curious to know the performance difference. Please post your results after you do the mod. Thanks!

The stock HSF is sufficient. However, a better cooling on the northbridge do allowed higher increasement in FSB.
