AMD 760 chips and multiplier

My memory is somewhat similar to that of a smashed goldfish at the best of times, so ill have to rely on you fine peoples instead.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the 760 chipset will only allow 133mhz fsb at multipliers of 7.5 and higher, to prevent overclocking via the fsb of durons and the like. This doesnt sound right to me, as the 760 chip really shouldnt know how fast its going.

Can anyone convincingly tell me that i imagined the whole episode, or otherwise confirm/deny the above BS?

Cause personally, i think a duron 700 @ the highest fsb it can reach on a 760 chipset sounds pretty good

ASUS removed the OCing features from their mobo. Gigabytes 760 mobo (forgot the number) has the overclocking dips.
