AMD 760/760MP date?

Currently what is the expected release date for the AMD 760 and 760MP chipset?

There seems to be questions regarding the quality of the ALI DDR chipset.

A comparison with other DDR chipsets will not be possible since ALI is first in the market.

I've recently taken interest in this topic. Snooping around AMD Zone today, I say hopes for a September release. Granted, I had also read possible release dates in July.

Somebody post a link to some good info! 🙂

I suppose September release of chipset to mobo manufacturers would be reasonable. You can add on another 8 weeks before an actual motherboard would be available. This puts the mobo date around the middle of November. Hopefully the 760 mobo and the availability of Mustang will coincide nicely. 🙂

I've been hearing September for quite a while and December for Mustang. Also the AMD760 will NOT have SMP but their 770 chipset will (very shortly after).

Hmmm, jaydee. The stuff I've seen linked from AMD Zone states that there will be 760 and 760MP chipsets, the latter from two-CPU scenarios.
