I am wondering if the two proform equally since there is a 200mhz differance between the two.
example:
3200 939 runs at 2.0ghz
vs
3200 754 runs at 2.2ghz
Or
example:
3000+ 939 (1.8)
vs
3000+ 745 (2.0)
im assuming that the dual channel on of the 939 makes up for the lack of the 200mhz. but i would like to see eveidence on it.
I am in the market of picking up a new AMD64 system but i still havent made up my mind on which skt to go for.
It seems like alot of people stress the fact to go with the 939 for the "future upgradablity" which all in all makes sence, but when i do my upgrades i usually upgrade mobo, ram, cpu at the same time.
i am just curious i have been seaching around and havent been able to dig up any data comparing the two sockets at the same PR rating.
