AMD 7000 series vs Nvidia gtx600 series who will win?

What card will be faster? No other factors just plain old performance.

This is what I think
7990 top dog, no dual GPU card from NV.
gtx680 faster than the 7970
gtx670 faster " " " 7950
gtx660 faster " " " 7870
gts650 slower " " ' 7850

Similar performance differences to what we have now, whoever arrives later will adjust clocks to try and keep it as close as possible.


Parody threads can be fun but they can also be divisive and not constructive for the community.

I am locking this thread as it appears to have run its course, folks have had their chance to blow off some steam by now.

Back to the topic on hand: Nvidia's 700 series will be ultra-low powered parts that can barely run pong. This will be due to Nvidia's actual 700 series (codenamed hiroshima) to be canceled due to a power draw equal to a small city which will cause Nvidia to rebrand tegra 3 as their mainstream discrete GPU part.
