AMD 64bit-based mobo support for >3GB RAM

At what point will vendors start shipping single processor AMD 64bit-based motherboards that support more than 3GB of RAM? Significantly more, i.e. 8GB or 16GB.

I'm specifically thinking about 939 pin-based boards so that registered DIMMs aren't needed.
