Hi. I have a question that I think I know the answer to but I want to be sure.
I ordered up a socket 754 3700+ and would like to know how to set it. The Asus Nforce3 mobo I ordered is rated at 800mhz fsb. Now I know the onboard memory controller is rated at 1600mhz and is the fsb between the CPU and system memory.
This leaves me with but one option as far as I know. Set the Bios to 200mhz and the multiple to 12 so that my PC3200 RAM runs at it's rated 400 mhz.
Am I correct here or is there something I have'nt thought of? I just want to make sure this is right before my parts arive.
