Hey folks, I'm in the market for another computer setup and I'm thinking of purchasing a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum and an AMD 64 3200 90nm. I've been reading a lot and this post might seem kind of redundant to all of you but I was wondering what would be the best bang for my buck RAM. Looking for two sticks of 512 to take advantage of the dual channelling but want something that would be overclocking friendly.

Also, what kind of heatsink and fan combo would you suggest?

Thank you for the help guys!

I am planning on ordering almost the exact same combo, undecided if I should go with the Asus A8V Deluxe though.

I have a 7000-AlCu that I was planning on using, no A or B after the 7000 so I hope that it will work

PDP Patriot pc3200 is good stuff. It oc's very well and cost's about $170-180. It performes about the same (within 1-3%) as the Corsair XMS stuff. Very good for the money.

mr. brendanlim:
i just took out my a8v rev2 deluxe and replaced it with a neo2 plat 1st of all the dual channel did not work with the a8v at all no matter what i did and there are lots of others out there with the same problem with that board and some other issues.
my ocz 3200 rev2 plat kicks butt in the neo 2 plat the dual works perfect at 5222 1T.the memory comtroller fx53 works way better in the neo2 plat board. i have 2 cnps7000Acu copper zalmans $45.00 each they also fit 939s perfectly, they are for sure excellient for a quick easy install and cooling.i have 947s 948s (slks) also big hassel and they loosen up after a while from the board from the spring clip not the screws.
just my 2 cents of what i did and all the experience i just went thru with this situation....good luck in your decision mr.brendanlim
