VIA, SiS and NVidia have begun shipping PCIE-enabled AMD64 chipsets. ALi's HyperTransport-PCIE tunnel for more serverish boards has recently been heard of too.

It'll be a (short) while until board product is going to appear.

Yeah I guess with the nf4 on the way I'll just have to wait.

Hopefully, it won't be too long. My guess is that we won't so actually see boards in the retail channel for a month from now (at least in quantity), maybe longer. Remember N' Force3 939 boards and the waiting game on the K8N Neo2s? Not to understate the obvious, but new platforms and technology always delay launches and availability.

As for NF4 and SLI it seems that we won't have to wait too long for those either. Heres a link to an Nvidia press release from a couple of days ago:
