I am now rebuilding my rig as my A8N-E was shipped back to Asus' RMA dept.
I am installing a new AMD 64 4000+ single core at 2.4 Ghz and 1Mbyte Cache (E4 Stepping) on MSI K8NGM2 with 250 Mhz max sys clock. I am cooling using a Artic Cooling 64 Pro. I am waiting on a Artic Silver 5 thermal paste before I start assembling.
Can I expect to hit 3.0 Ghz? or is it a hit or miss?
