hi can any one tell me if this would be a good up grade for my vnf3-250. and how high it can be overclocked.

right now im running a3200+ . mushkin 512x2 and a gainward 6800ut .im thinking of waiting a year before
getting a sli board. and right now i can play all the new games out and most likley any future ones.

just looking for more performance gain. maybe i can make it last till sli comes out with ddr2.

thanks guys for all your help past and future.

OC your 3200+ a little and viola, a 3700+! I doubt you will notice huge difference, but I definately think that will last well until ddr2/dualcore/sli.

Those 3700's aren't cheap, pricewatch check $449. I'd probably just wait a year and spend that much more on your new rig and really see a big difference then. Unless of course, you have money to burn.

Agree...My 3400+ ClawHammer is running fine. OC'd from 2.2 to 2.424 using stock fan and ValuePack Corsair dual-channel pc3200, no problems. Just waiting for those 939 stuff to come down in price.
